Bodegas Fabre, Vinalba Patagonia Malbec, Patagonia, Argentina 2019

Sourced from Patagonia in the south of Argentina, this is a Malbec (85%) and Syrah (15%) blend featuring sweet red and dark berries, clove and dried roses on the nose. 60% of the blend was aged in oak for 12 months. The rich berry fruits come through to a spiced palate of black pepper, wild herbs and solid wood tannins. A good amount of mineral acidity provides a lift to the ripe fruits, with prune notes on the finish.
