Sourced from Blocks 111-113 at the highest elevation of the Hickenbotham vineyard in Clarendon, this was the last Grenache harvested from the 2024 vintage, producing a highly developed flavour profile. It also has powerful, sustained aromas of cranberry and cherry, benefitting from 100% whole bunch-fermentation without having exaggerated influence. Showing strength and length without unnecessary heft, fine-boned flavours of bright red fruits are piqued with a herbal bite, to create a wine of distinctive freshness and great depth. The modest supporting role of fine-grained tannins provide a pleasing savoury finish.
