From vines planted in 1965 to follow the sweeping contours of this undulating Eden Valley site, this is a model of Riesling purity with its clean, long flavours. It retains a waft of citrus blossom among a concentrated squeeze of lime juice and marmalade that defines the palate. From a warm vintage that had a long ripening period, the palate has notable concentration and power, shaped purposefully in the tail by sharp sparks of flinty minerality.
