An inky Shiraz with a juicy, fleshy core of blackberries, ripe raspberries and plum, lined by black pepper and cardamom. The nose has a sweet aspect of cherry compote and Port-poached pears but the palate offsets this sugary suggestion with good acid and drive. Tannins are robust but soft. Long finish.
