Wakefield, Jaraman Cabernet Sauvignon, South Australia, 2022

A polished blend of fruit from both Coonawarra and Clare Valley; the latter adds a beautiful silkiness to the palate. Deep aromatics: ripe black and purple fruit with notes of eucalyptus and mint. Matured in new and used French oak for 12 months, this is rich and generous, but well balanced by elegant tannins that frame the smooth blackberry and cassis fruit, layered with notes of graphite, spearmint, cigar box and tobacco leaf.
