What was previously the dark, moody sibling among four site-specific Grenache expressions from Yangarra now appears bright and nimble in the 2022 vintage. Cherry and rose notes add pretty highlights to the front palate, but then the power drives hard and elongates a rich red earth character through an especially long mid-palate. Having been matured in stone amphorae, it’s all held firm and true with gentle tannins that ensure a drawstring is pulled tight before the curtain drops on a long, luscious ride.
