Named after the practise of ‘cutting the canes’ of the vines just before harvest to allow the grapes to hang in the late summer sun for a few extra days and concentrate their flavours. This dessert wine is from Victoria's Goulburn Valley is 97% Marsanne, with a smidgen of Viognier and Chardonnay. It’s punchy with guava and tinned pineapple, lime marmalade and lilies. A lime acidity brings balance. Opulent.
