Lots of delicacy on nose. Glossy banana, lemon leaf, pith, fine spice, lemon meringue pie, oatmeal and whipped eggwhite. Crystalline fruit on the palate pulls you right into the core, while fine silvery acidity is pulled taut from start to finish. Lightly toasted oak holds the fruit without detracting. Hints of nougat and blanched crushed cashew. Nimble and supple fruit weaves through the mouth. Wine that excites while being comforting; etched with pinpoint precision and great length. Single-vineyard, Gingin clone; handpicked, whole bunch pressed and wild fermented, with bâtonnage monthly. Aged in 225L French barriques.
