The dry, cool growing season produced very low yields (under one tonne per acre) and smaller bunch weights, leading to muscular fruit with good natural acidity. The wine was fermented and aged in new French oak for nine months.

Still well endowed - positively ripped - with primary fruit, this has balancing acidity to keep the concentrated, vanilla-edged white peach in play, making for a very even, animated palate. This is still youthful, with satisfying fruit purity and power.
