Morrisons, The Best Western Australia Chardonnay, Australia 2021

Spiced yellow apple and pineapple on the nose, leading to lemon and more exotic yellow fruits. Apple peel bitterness on the attack, honeydew melon and umami depth on the mid-palate, seasoned with honey-roasted nuts. Aged in stainless steel and oak barrels for 6 months. The warming alcohol (13.5%) is refreshed by a decent level of acidity (6g/l).
