Medium intensity of creamy apple and pear, with a touch of lemon and stone fruit. The palate is spicy and tangy and there's some good structure here. A flinty character mixed with lime peel lends good freshness. Zingy, dry and quite tense, but with a rounded buterriness too. Howard Park Wines make this Margaret River Chardonnay and has done a quality job. The grapes are from the southern part of Margaret River, where the ripening process is long and gentle.
