Firmly pink in the glass, this is a lovely expression of a food friendly rosé from one of Austria’s biodynamic stars, with crisp red apple, wild plum and cherry skin aromas. There's a mineral undertow that keeps this interesting, like salty wet rocks. Silky and succulent in the mouth, with a tart bite of red apple followed by round and plush red berry fruit. Such a moreish mouthful. Not overblown in any way, it’s balanced elegantly between tangy freshness and sumptuous richness, with an elongated finish full of bitter cherry, almond and strawberry leaf. Versatile as a stand alone sipping wine or as an accompaniment to fragrant spiced dishes.
