The Erste Lage ‘Wachtberg’ is located on south-facing terraces just behind the old town of Krems with a thick loess layer on top of the primary rock soil. Sour citrus, yellow apple and pears on the nose. A touch of residual sugar provides roundness to the crisp palate (6.8g/l acidity). Spiced lemon curd and yellow apple fruits, with an opulent body from the 13.5% alcohol.
