There must be a following for this style of wine, as Bründlmayer occasionally produces it. Already quite evolved in colour, it has a heady peach and mango nose, with a slight trace of oxidation that then diminished. Sumptuous and mouth filling, this has a creamy texture, and is both concentrated and very spicy. It packs a punch and seems overbearing, and while there's no burn from the alcohol it does verge on overripeness. There's a thread of acidity but not much persistence, giving a heady rather than elegant finish.
