Electric pink in colour, this explodes from the glass with bright aromas of sweet red berries, raspberry coulis, cherry pie and strawberry fruit pastilles. Sumptuous and sensual in the mouth, with a fairly weighty body and texture, the flavours take on orange rind and rocky depth. The finish goes on and on, bringing to mind huge punnets of plump strawberries glinting in the summer sun. It finishes dry with a welcome bitter nut skin note, and there's a textural grip that brings needed structure and freshness. Very easy to drink. Unfiltered so it’s a touch cloudy, intense in flavour and not shy in character. A showstopper party wine.
