Built in the 1960s, this winery's real history started in 1999 when Jair Agopian bought it from the Bulgarian government. Despite spending 20 months in new French oak, the wood and tannins are well integrated into the dense, juicy red fruit, which is powerful enough to support the 15% alcohol. Good fresh finish.
