Okanagan Crush Pad, Narrative Ancient Method, Okanagan Valley, 2015

This sparkling wine is made in the méthode ancestral / pétillant naturel style, bottled during fermentation so that the carbon-dioxide produced can form the fine bubbles in the wine. It's made from 100% Pinot Noir grown on the highest altitude vineyard site in the Okanagan Valley, and fermented with wild yeasts in concrete. It has a yeasty, brioche nose and a super-creamy palate with notes of citrus, dough and red fruit. A delicious, delicate style.
