A reference for Chenin in the Okanagan, Quail’s Gate produces this single clone bottling from vines planted in 1997 and 2010. The 2022 saw a whole cluster press and refinement in 80% concrete egg and 20% neutral oak barrels. Attractively scented with apricot blossom, hay and honey, it is lithe and lovely demonstrating agility over overt concentration. Nevertheless, its lemony, leesy character is accentuated by zesty, ripe acidity. Finishes with a tangerine twist.
