Icewine is made from frozen grapes, and Niagara is one of the most successful places on earth for producing this style - the conditions have to be just right, making it a rare wine at the best of times. But patience is a virtue, as the natural process concentrates the grape juice and sugars to such a degree that it reaches another level of sweetness and flavour. This half-bottle has super-rich flavours of honeyed apricots and nectarines. It is soft and round with a lazy acidity that carries a tangy lime note to cut through the sweetness.
