Bold and rich aromas of baked plums meld with subtle hints of mint and aniseed. A sweet-fruited Merlot which for just £8.50 offers a lot of substance and flavour. Heaps of blackcurrant and plum wash into the finish. Fairly commercial in style, but easy to enjoy.
