From vines more than a century-old, present at the foundation of the De Martino estate, and a field blend of 80% País and 20% San Francisco, this is characterful, alluringly broody yet deliciously drinkable. Allow it time in the glass to unveil the wet earth, tobacco and mocha earthiness underneath the crunchy cranberry, red cherry and pomegranate fruit. Lovely fluidity and energy throughout. Long, savoury finish with lingering cherry pit and tobacco.
