Black pepper dominates a nose of ripe black fruits, Japanese Shoyu and sweet spices. The Syrah from the cool-climate Leyda valley was aged for 12 months in stainless steel and used French oak barrels, preserving its sour cherry acidity and black and red berry fruits. The tannins are polished but present, making it a wine perfect for beef dishes.
