I'm a secret País fan - it's such an interesting variety that offers drinkers something a bit different to your typical varieties. This example, made by celebrated winemaker Ricardo Baettig, undergoes carbonic maceration (think Beaujolais) to bring out its fruit-forward character. It has lovely textured strawberry, raspberry and cherry fruits with plenty of menthol freshness and a touch of spice on the finish. Very easy drinking and great for the summer months.
