Located in Dahlenheim, west of Strasbourg, Mélanie Pfister represents her family’s eighth generation. An engineer and oenologist, she succeeded her father André in 2006, refining cellar techniques to showcase their high-quality heritage. The 10ha estate has been certified organic since 2021 and centres on the south-facing, marl-limestone Engelberg Grand Cru. This individual terroir of almost 2ha provides the wines with a distinctive structural backbone and exceptional ageing potential, defining a style of northern Alsace elegance and precision. Thierry Meyer: Medium intensity, young bouquet. Palate shows depth and pure structure with ripe acidity. Long and clean finish. Will keep. Vincenzo Arnese: Fresh and direct, with good structure and body, showing nice development and a good finish with lingering acidity. Claire Thevenot MS: Generous freshness, fantastic young vibe with tension and poise. Tertiary aromas are beginning to develop, adding to the complexity. No hurry to drink.
