Ripe blackcurrant and cherry fruit with prominent but softy gripping tannins with cool minty, wet stone freshness and licks of liquorice. Not so demonstrative, quiet and lean, but this has some weight and texture. Feels clean and well worked, not overdone. The first vintage to be certified organic. A yield of 31hl/ha. Ageing in barrels, 20% new. Eric Boissenot consultant.
