Aldi's Maison Rouge Claret is more than decent at £4.49, but splash out a couple of pounds more for this structured, smooth and quite delicious Cabernet-based Bordeaux. It's just getting those leathery, savoury hints too, to join firm black fruits, toasty spice and supple tannins.
