Deep, dark fruit with toasted notes on the nose. Tobacco, tar, liquorice and clove spice join quite bracing acidity to give a flavourful but not heavy mouthfeel. The acidity gives some tension and this hasn’t fully harmonised. A little sour and a touch high toned with some wet stone, saltiness on the finish.
