One of three special cuvées, this one from vines in the village of Cantenac. Upfront and lively, this has a nice initial burst of strawberry and herbal cherry touches with a chalky, mineral edge to the tannins. I love the energy and cleanness though with plenty of underlying power. Lovely cool edge with blueberries, mint and flint. This has a lot going on, chewy tannins, ripe fruit, juice and saltiness. I love it. Ageing 80% oak and 20% amphora.
