Château Grand Mayne, St-Émilion, Grand Cru Classé, 2024

Savoury herbal and dried floral scents on the nose. Fruit forward and lively, this has a lovely sense of ease about it. The fruit subsides a little from the mid palate just tapering to reveal more salty, stones, and liquorice and subtle toasted sides but this starts so well with precision and focus. Charming in a quiet way. Will be good to re-taste after bottling.
