Smells gorgeous, roses, milk chocolate, blackcurrant and cherries, lovely aromatics on the nose, a touch of perfume and oaky toastiness. Lively and bright straight away, a shot of acidity and tangy fruit. The tannins come into play quite quickly, surrounding the fruit adn the mouth with a chalky, almost powdery texture that gives nice weight to the expression. This needs some food. acidity carries the length and this has some enjoyable blueberry and cherry notes on the finish. Easy to drink and enjoy with texture. It's not the most finessed, but it's still a baby nad needs some more time. I like the energy of this blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.
