Blueberries, red cherries, some toasted notes, with floral and spiced elements on the nose. Lots going on. Nicely structured and presented, good body and weight to this but with clear minerality that keeps the definition. Well integrated tannins give the weight but this has a lovely sleekness. Easy enjoyable, great acidity brings the freshness and the minerality adds a tension while the wood gives some body. Still needs to settle a little for me, but this is very good. From a 60 hectare property, this blend is 80% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Petit Verdot. In organic conversion.
