Quite a rich and intensely concentrated palate full of juicy blackcurrant and plums. This has some tar, liquorice, tobacco and cedar spice which add nuance and interest. All in all it’s balanced despite the 15% alcohol with a really smooth and well controlled profile. Sappy, deep, slight bite on the finish. When this softens a bit more it will be lovely.
