Really perfumed and fragrant on the nose, amazingly expressive. Tart and a little high toned in that the acidity is at the fore and the fruit is on the just-ripe side. Finishes a bit chalky and dry. The intensity of flavour is certainly there but the texture isn't totally harmonious right now. Bitter, stalky, tobacco, cedar and liquorice root.
