Sweet and sour strawberry, some rose touches, delicate florally but such brightness - a really juicy easy-drinking style with lots of appeal. Smooth and satisfying. I love the texture - the chalky, slightly grainy clove-touched tannins, a little bit bitter and austere but with such clarity and overall freshness. Easy drinking but still with structure and frame and no aggressivity. A top buy for immediate drinking pleasure even though it will also cellar well. 3.48pH.
