Medium to full intensity dark ruby in colour, on the nose this is pretty reserved right now, but there are layers of subtle black truffle and liquorice flavours that come through. Takes its time to open up, and errs on the side of finesse that at first makes you look for a bigger slice of Pomerol seduction. But, with a little patience, it reveals confident, deft winemaking and layers of violet and blackberries. Looking forward to seeing how this develops over ageing.
