Punchy and just shy of potent, this is full of richly scented and perfumed ripe fruit with some elements of exotic spices and toasted wood. Tannins are ripe and just shy of chewy, giving gentle support while the ripe fruit and savoury aspects do the talking. It's on the more overt side, everything out in the open, quite forward and expressive in a rich, and opulent kind of way but it does retain freshness. Needs a bit more time.
