A dark savoury nose, black chocolate, pencil shavings, smoked earth, liquorice and a delicate florality with violet touches - a lot going on aromatically. Almost spritzy on the palate, the red and blac fruits fizz on the tongue giving a sharpness to them but softened by the just-plump tannins that gently grip the tongue and sides of the cheeks giving that dry but appealing texture. Upfront and racy with some energy behind it. I like this confident style. One for easy drinking.
