Generous and juicy with a lovely energy and focus here. Still a little tense in the streamlined nature of fruit - held together by well integrated tannins just all in one line but well defined and finessed. Definitely on the more sleek end of the spectrum, no plushness but cool freshness with ripe fruit and a juiciness that is so appealing. This has lovely claret classicism and will have fans. Aged 12 months in new French oak barrels.
