This was remarkably accessible, boasting aromas of ripe blackberry and plum and hints of rose petals and spice. The texture was fresh and lively, more focused than some recent vintages but not lacking the house’s approachable style. It is perhaps still a bit early – ideally one would wait another three to five years and then drink over the next 30.
