Domaine Jacqueline Frachet, Vieilles Vignes, Chorey-lès-Beaune, 2015

This red Burgundy has a lovely savoury red fruit nose, with undertones of tar and spice. There are delightful, pure red fruit flavours too, with lifted vanilla and spice hints. The palate is bordered by oak, but doesn't overpower the fruit and is well integrated. A great buy.
