This is one of the year's best value wines, with bright, lemony fruit and fresh floral notes, uncomplicated by heavy oak spice since no new casks were used in the fermentation. Although this is produced from purchased grapes and must, it receives the same care as the domaine-bottled selections. Surprisingly light and fresh for the vintage, the Boillot Bourgogne Blanc provides plenty of crisp, refreshing pleasure at a remarkably accessible price point.
