Based in Rully, Maison Louis Picamelot is one of the region’s greatest Crémant producers, which is run by the ultra-dynamic Philippe Chautard, the grandson of founder Louis. This Extra Brut is produced from a vineyard planted only in 2016 in the town of Talant, a highly reputed area in the Middle Ages for grape growing around Dijon. Comprised of 51% Pinot Noir and 49% Chardonnay, it opens up onto the palate with notable creaminess and notes of succulent orchard fruits, toasted hazelnuts and gingerbread.
