Lively and bright, this is produced from 72% Pinot Noir from Aÿ and Verzenay, along with Chardonnay from Cramant and Oger and a drop of still red wine in the blend from Bollinger’s emblematic vineyard La Côte aux Enfants. Six years on the lees and with a dosage of 7g/L, the wine is still supremely youthful, with lovely fresh red fruit and floral notes on the nose just starting to show a slightly smoky edge and a firm, fresh acidity on the palate that shows this should age well for years to come.
