This up-and-coming producer is making some broad, flavoursome wines. In 2018 Oger shows some heat in its punchy grapefruit bitters and sweet pear fruit, lifted with some almond and jasmine notes from the oak. There’s a subtle bitterness and spice in the tail, too. Chardonnay from Oger in the Côte des Blancs. One year in two- to five-year-old oak.
