Most of Aldi's new range of rosés (16!) have a lingering, cloying sweetness, so this crisp, balanced one by Chassaux et Fils is a refreshing find. A blend of mainly Grenache and Carignan, it has bright aromas and flavours of tangy summer pudding fruit and soft spice. The 2020 Specially Selected Vegan Rosé and Pierre Jaurant Côtes du Luberon Rosé are also decent.
