This is a slightly different take on Picpoul than you might be expecting, as the aromas lean toward a much riper and fleshier profile, with notes of ripe melon, mango and passion fruit giving the wine an almost tropical feel. On the palate the fruit is generous before a rush of citrus acidity lifts the finish. It doesn’t emphasise the piercing freshness often associated with the variety, but there is still enough acidity to keep the wine lively.
