A superb white that is practically spring in a glass! Immediately expressive and bursting forth with heady floral aromas, with lilies, jasmine, honeysuckle and hawthorn blossom all swirling together. Beneath the flowers there is beautifully pure orchard fruit along with hints of lime and linden flower. The palate is poised and textural, with a fine saline thread running through it. There is something almost weightless about the wine – cotton-light, dainty and elegant – yet it retains depth and presence. Mas Bruguière is in Pic-St-Loup in the northeast of the Languedoc, although whites aren't allowed under the Pic-St-Loup appellation so this is labelled as Vin de France.
