At 10 years of age, this has really found a groove, balancing development characters with what seems to be a signature cool mineral core. Aromas span panna cotta, walnuts and almonds, with a stony, green sappy note like rain on hot stone, petrichor. What follows is a full and silky mouthful, both bitter and sweet on the tongue. it's extremely dry, with great acidity. It's so silky and delicious in texture, like satin. There's a touch of toast and nut, and savoury garrigue whirls across the finish. The Gassac signature blend of many grape varieties, local, international and more obscure and rare, including Viognier, Petit Manseng, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc
