Morrisons, The Best Languedoc, Languedoc-Roussillon, France 2018

Smokey damson and black plums, with hints of inky minerals. Juicy and peppery with dark cherry liqueur and dark plums, seasoned by black pepper and clove. Balanced by a decent line of acidity, the Languedoc red blend has a ripe and velvety tannin structure. Inky black fruits follow to the warming finish. Part of the wine has been aged in French oak barrels for 10 months. Excellent value at £7 per bottle.
