Paul Mas, Astélia Sauvignon Blanc, Pays d'Oc, 2018

A tropical Sauvignon Blanc coming from the coolest Paul Mas vineyards near Limoux, namely the ‘La Plaine’ plot at Château de Conas and ‘Altros Dos’ from the chalky soils of Château Arrogant Frog. It's a lovely light golden colour with an explosive nose of passion fruit and mango, while the palate has more gooseberry and bitter grapefruit freshness as well as crisp acidity and a long finish.
